Once in the year 2004 and month of the september, Fans of Mahesh Babu organized a well-planned rally in warangal for the promotion of one of his movies “Arjun” and Mahesh Babu was attending that rally.

Certainly, He and his fans entered to 2 video libraries and beaten the owners of the library for the circulation of unauthorised CDs of the movie. Some Criminal Cases were imposed on him by the Library runners and 5 other people. But later the Delegations of Telegu Film Industry, Including His Father Krishna Ghattamaneni, Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagararjuna, Allu Aravind and Daggubati Suresh Babu went to meet the Chief Minister of the state Y.S. Rajashekhara Reddy to solve the matter out.

On this Matter, Mahesh said that all the cases were booked out on him but not a single case was imposed on the people who was selling those unauthorised CDs which was a very “funny thing”.

While this Issue was going on, the Film Maker of the Movie Pawan Kalyan and the Actors of the Movie were consistenly supporting Mahesh Babu on this matter. Mahesh Babu surrendered to the district court on september 20th of 2004 and also was been presented in the court on April 22nd 2006. The final hearing that took place on 7th of July in 2006, clearly removed on all the cases imposed on Mahesh Babu and others.
